Solar Car
The solar car workshop has been developed by the Bristol University EWB branch and is aimed at students of any age.
The workshop demonstrates the need for renewable energy sources and the role engineers can play in solving problems relating to environmental issues like global warming. The workshop gets students to explore how solar energy can be used in developing countries to provide alternative energy solutions where electricity is not readily available, and includes a fun and unique activity to design and build a solar car. features. It gives students the opportunity to problem solve, work together, budget and finally race!
